The lack of some kind of party system is killing it for me. Mind you I put 70 hours into it and I'm still trying to get my trophy for beating the game without dying so there's still a little life left yet.
As of last week there were 600,000 different different people who played online (in total), now there's 684,000 (in total).
Last week 214,000 people played online.

Maybe this is a start to some kind of "phasing out" to get rid of the older skews/models to bring in something new?
I thought the Bioshock 2 trailer on the PS3 version would've confirmed this? oh well...
One of the dumbest moves they've been doing lately is releasing a demo for people who pre-order the game before hand (ie. Killzone, Resistance PSP, Locco Rocco, Patapon, and I'm assuming Infamous will be too).
Hype is supposed to be generated leading up to a games release, the people who pre-order the game are the people who are going to buy it day 1. A demo a week or 2 before the release date would help generate more hype to a much bigger audience.
So for a $150 you can get a 120gb hard drive for you Xbox OR for $100 you can get a 500gb 2.5" internal for your PS3.

edit: lol the guys in the suits can't be laid off.
The EB leak was the 80gb for $300, this shows the 80gb with 2 games for $400.The Target one has a photo so I would have to believe this one more.
The EB release date is said to be March 22nd, and this one is said to be March 29th.

Sorry hiphop but IGN has gained my respect over the 7 years or so I've been visiting them. YOU on the other hand have done nothing good for the gaming community and if it wasn't for N4G and it's comment section your site would be nothing.
oh and about this quote:
"If IGN truly wants to continue to be a shinning example of game journalism integrity they must stop with the popularity contest that has become their opinions and get back to being a site for the gamers"...
If I'm not mistaken HHG's title was "Microsofts drives another Ninja Blade into Sony's heart". lol
their such a tabloid site, they remind me of Access Hollywood.
I remember when Microsoft changed their website a few months ago I had 2 messages show up in my message box from over 2 years ago. One of them was somebody asking if I want to play Chromehounds.
Story short, those messages were from 2 years ago, they popped up, that means nothing is secret.
Shouldn't it be titled "Should Microsoft go Third-Party?"

A full Sirius subscription is $15 a month and $7 for every other account after that. It's worth the price if you live out in the middle of nowhere and only have one radio station within a 3.5 hour radius or if you go on long road trips. I was thinking about canceling anyways because I can get the first 2 channels on my free FTA satellite!
The article asks how your going to stream it to the PS3? Siriu...
I think we've replaced unlockables and cheat codes for achievements and trophies.
The biggest thing that worries me is that this could be a whole new angle on how devs look at DLC. Usually the online portion of the game is the last to be tweeked, now if they can get away with an earlier release date (or on time) by shaving off a mode or two then that benefit's them. But if they can also sell that shaved off mode for some money AFTER the games out, then it's even more money for th...
After putting in 70 hours in (50 hours online/20 hours campaign) I can say I enjoy the single player much better.
The funny thing about all of these articles is when people are talking about winning a "console war" their actually talking about moving from third place to second.
As an owner of the Xbox and a PS3 I'm here to say that I am a proud owner of both losing systems of this generation. :(
That's cheap but it doesn't surprise me.
